Unraveling Blocks Which Bound Power
Personal power can be bound for many reasons and under many circumstances. Here are a few examples of curse unraveling sessions involving bound power and the outcomes.
CLIENT "A", 2008
"A" was a client who came to me at the end of my 2-week Shamanic Intensive studies. Our teachers arranged a few days to supervise us as we saw clients using our newly found healing techniques.
"A's" complaint was that he was having trouble journeying and connecting with his guides and Power Animals. He couldn't get clarity, and every time he tried to do a shamanic journey, it came to nothing.
I journeyed to ask my guides what was up. My Power Animals gave me images of "A" encased in what looked like a steel egg and images of him with a type of constricting belt around his waist. They also showed me an elevator that could only go up to a certain level and which could not reach the top two floors. Being a newbie, I asked my Power Animal to use his frightful claws to rip through the steel egg and free my client, but he hesitated and shook his head 'no' and would not do this. I returned from these journeys puzzled, not exactly knowing what to do.
I relayed the images to my client, saying: "I don't know what this means yet, but I am instructed to tell them to you. Can you think back to when this started?"
Gradually, his eyes widened, and he let out a big breath. "My father is the shaman of our village in Central America. As the eldest son, I am to be his successor. I've been through some of the required ceremonies and initiations to do this, but I abandoned the training when I came to the US to attend graduate school. I still have two essential ceremonies to go before I complete my studies with my father. I think that is what the 2 burned out bulbs are in the 'elevator' that you saw; I can't get to the 'top floor' yet without these ceremonies. The 'steel egg' is a kind of binding of power that is put on men in training until they can demonstrate that they know the lore and the teachings completely and have been presented to the village as a fully-inducted shaman. This makes me really want to renew my studies and finish my ceremonies. Thank you!"
In the case of this client, there was nothing that was required. The journeys showed him what was happening and why. He was able to make his own decisions about renewing his studies with his father.
CLIENT "K", 2011
"K" was my first curse unraveling client. She came to me while I was still in my initial Curse Unraveling training with Betsy Bergstrom. "K" emailed me the first night of our training, asking if I could help. I replied that I was in my training, and we would take the unraveling a step at a time over five days as I learned how to do the process. She agreed.
She complained that, as a nurse, she was experiencing negative treatment, words, and actions from pretty much everyone around her for no reason that she could discern. She was getting written up, blamed for things she did not do, and passed over for promotion when her work reviews were stellar. This had all started as a result of an altercation involving her boyfriend.
Diagnostics revealed that the altercation with the boyfriend had activated an old ancestral curse; both she and the boyfriend had common ancestry from the same part of the world.
The unraveling was completed during an afternoon hike when I was out in nature at the retreat center in the hour after dinner and before training resumed for the evening. I emailed the client and went back for our evening session.
That next morning, she emailed me to tell me that she had had a visit from one of the animals that had been bound into this curse as a fuel source. She said that it was surprising and joyful, so she knew that something had changed. A few days later, she emailed again saying that the behavior and demeanor of her supervisors and coworkers had changed abruptly for the positive, and she was receiving accolades for her work instead of write-ups. A few months later, she contacted me to let me know that life was much, much better for her.
CLIENT "T", 2016
"T" was a friend and colleague when I lived in Huntsville, Alabama, and owned and operated the Shining Mountain Healing Center. He came to me one day for a shamanic healing session.
When I asked why he was coming in, he said: "All I know is that something is not right. There is some kind of blockage that keeps popping up every time I try to move ahead." In my diagnostic journeys, I was shown a past life in which "T" was in training to be a person of power by a group of what I could only interpret to be Druids. In subsequent diagnostic journeys, the Helping Spirits showed me that "T's" power was bound in ceremony, again during a period of training and initiation, to be unbound after druidic training in that lifetime. I was also shown that something catastrophic happened in which neither the teachers nor the trainees survived. Thus, the binding had remained in place after all of the ensuing lifetimes.
The Helping Spirits gave me the go-ahead to unravel this binding, which we did. The release of energy was palpable in the room, and to "T" in the moment. When I saw "T" a few weeks later, I asked him how things were with him after our session. "The change has been incredible!" he said. "Life is absolutely brand new for me now, and all of the blockages I was experiencing before in moving forward have just vanished. You've given me my life back!" As he said this, his eyes were shining.
