What are Trolldom Mindrooms?
Trolldom Mindrooms let us see the dynamics and particulars of a situation, and also change them quickly and easily.

Mindrooms are imaginal energetic spaces that reflect and affect the outer world
Mindrooms let us immediately see the energetic conditions of a place or a situation. As the name implies, we work with Mindrooms in our minds, with our thoughts, words, and intentions.
Beyond their diagnostic capabilities, Mindrooms adjust and re-form to match our thoughts and intentions, meaning that changes made in a mindroom alter the situation itself in the outside world.
A Mindroom is an excellent diagnostic tool, and it is also a quick and beautiful way of making changes to your energetic landscape and boundaries.
Mindroom technology came to me through the study of traditional Swedish Trolldom. It's one of the most exciting and fun animistic healing tools in my toolbox. I love working with Mindrooms!
What Can Mindrooms Do For Me?
The applications for mindrooms seem to be endless. In the several years I've been creating and working with mindrooms, I've not found a situation where I couldn't use one.
A Short List of Uses for Mindrooms
-
Examining the dynamics in a relationship, for instance, between two partners in business or life
-
Looking at the overall health of a business
-
Seeing what might be blocking a business or a marketing campaign
-
One of my favorite uses for Mindrooms is crafting and maintaining a container for a class, a workshop, or for healing work. I create mindrooms to look at the energetics of places I'll be staying when I travel, and to alter those energetics to a more agreeable state before I get there
-
Mindrooms can be used to contain a situation, or to put its thoughts and energies 'away' for a time, especially if the situation occupies one's thoughts all the time
These are just a very few of the dozens of uses I've come up with for mindrooms.
If you have a situation you'd like to explore that is puzzling you, fill out a confidential client intake as a first step to setting up a healing session.

Mindroom Case Studies From My Own Private Practice
Mindroom Case Study #1
In 2019, my partner and I created a mindroom to set intentions and conditions for a spiritual gathering of gay men that we were hosting one Winter.
A month or so before the gathering, we asked the mindroom to form, and we kept checking on it for the weeks leading up to our gathering. Some of our conditions were things like "bring only your best, truest self to this gathering; leave outside issues outside the circle", "this is a sacred and nurturing place for all", "everyone is welcome, and all parts of everyone are welcome", and other conditions such as these.
We were very careful to delineate that the property boundary of the retreat center was the edge of our sacred space. Eventually, the mindroom felt bright, warm, nurturing, and stable. We anchored it in an external altar constellation. I was hopeful, but unsure, as I'd never tried something like this.
To our delight, on the first night at the retreat, we ate dinner with a long-time attendee and friend of my partner. He's a bit of a curmudgeon and told us a tale of how angry he was as he drove to this gathering. His intention was to give a final "fuck you" to this group of men, and to, well, flounce away in a huff.
To his utter surprise, he told us that the nearer and nearer he got to the physical property, he became more and more unable to hold on to his anger and dark emotions. He was filled with a really soft, fond feeling for all of the times he'd had here, and for all of the men he'd met at this particular gathering over the many years he'd been a part of the group. At the conclusion of the weekend, many of the elders told us that this had been one of the best weekends they'd ever had in the 30 years they'd been gathering.
Mindroom Case Study #2
May 2026 -- I had to travel out of state to a family funeral on my mom's side. This side of the family can be a bit contentious, and I was dreading it a wee bit. I formed a mindroom for my experience at this gathering and spoke into being conditions of neutrality, love, and mutual support. I added that anyone who interacted with me would do so via that mindroom.
My experience was far more than I could have hoped for: I had real, revelatory connections with cousins, aunts, uncles, and 2nd cousins I had not seen in person for years. Instead of the usual backbiting and minor squabbles, it was just lovely.
Mindroom Case Study #3
2023 -- A client had a healing session with me to discover why her partner was behaving in certain ways towards her. We asked a mindroom to form to illuminate this situation for us, and as we entered, we discovered that there were many deceased ancestors who were really wanting to weigh in on this relationship and have their say. These were not possessing spirits, per se, yet they were more present than was comfortable, and their proximity was making this marriage difficult.
Also in the mindroom some old family agreements came to light that my client was not aware of. Through conversation and some unraveling work, we were able to clear and settle the energies, and return the ancestors to their rightful place, impressing upon them that this relationship was not their business, and that the husband and wife did not wish to have such close encounters.
After the session, my client contacted me and said that things were vastly improved between her and her husband, and that she felt a great release of 'pressure' that had been ever-present in their lives.
